1996 Infiniti I30 Removing back seat
Interior problem
1996 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 224000 miles
Hello, first off thank you for what you are doing on this site. It's great to have some place to go to get an idea of what's wrong with your automobile.
Question: How do you remove the rear seat on this car? I purchased this car used and the trunk lock has been changed/replaced so my key doesn't work. To make matters worse, the trunk release button does not work. So as of today I have no access to my trunk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

actually i have the same problem with you. i cannot use either the key or the button to open the lid, i guess it was the lever and the latch. but i did not see how to get into the back seats. anybody who can give a suggestion? thanks.
