Hi, I recently changed the front struts on my 1996 Infinity G-20. I took the struts out myself and brought them to a local shop to have the springs compressed and the new struts put in. However, I realized too late that the mechanic (or whoever) that installed the springs used the old top piston bolt instead of the new bolt that came with the struts.

I'd rather not remove the struts and redo this job. Is it possible to replace this bolt while they are installed in the car? Or is this something that I shouldn't really worry about?

Thank you,

Tom

Hi
No need to worry not necessary to replace. If there is no noise, bumps, squeals and rides good your O.K.
Thanks for donate

Great, thank you. There are no squeals or unusual noises. For the piece of mind, it was a donation well spent :D
