What would cause my daughter's 1998 Accent to have no power. It has 100,000+ miles with a manual transmission and no A/C.

It has had all the service bullitens covered. It ran fine (and still does) until she took a 600 mile trip. Now it runs and idles fine but has no power to pass or get up hills. The plugs, wires, and fuel filter were just replaced about March.

Get the exhaust system check for excessive backpressure could be a clogged-up catalytic converter.
