I have a 1998 hyundai sonata and my ac doesn't work I went to get it checked and I was told the compressor wasn't working. I took it to some one else and relayed to him what I was told and he told me I have air in the system and no power to the compressor. I cant afford to pay a whole lot to get it fixed so how can I determine why there is no power going to the compressor? And once there is power to it will I be able to add freon to make it work again? I was told for me to even be able to add the freon the compressor has to be working so it can pull it into the system to circulate it, is this true?
