ABORTED SMOG TEST
I have a 99' Hyundai, Elantra, milage 72963, engine size 2.0L. Having to get a smog (not smog only) test before reregistering the car, I went to the neighborhood repair place. They said there was "no communication with OBD11 connector" said to bring it to dealer. I called dealer and the woman I talked to, said it would probably do the same there and I would have to make an appointment with a "referree". Question: Why is this happening? Would another smog place have more luck? why isn't it communicating and is there something I can do?? I made an appt with the referree, however I am already late on my registration and the first appt isn't for two weeks??? help
