The car is a 2000 Hyundai Accent with 60000 miles and we really need some help with it. It all started with my Son running the car into a small lake.
Since then, we have removed the water from the engine and gas tank, changed the oil and oil filter, plugs and wires, oxygen sensors and inginition coil, we have replaced the muffler and made sure that there is not obstructions throughout the exhaust system. We have taken the car to a mechanic and the dealer and they do not know what to do for the car and yes, we have changed the ECM 4 times.

After a lot of trial and error, we have the car running but we're still having trouble. The car seems to have a problem with the fuel system. We had the car running on all four cylinders but after we relplaced the oxygen sensors, the car is back to only running on two cylinders and when it is idling, it revs up on its own and then then will come back down. We cannot get it to get good pickup and we are now reading the codes for the 1 an 4 cylinders not firing. Someone told us about a sensor in the fuel tank that might be causing some of our problems but we know nothing about that.

Can anyone help with getting the car running correctly

I can't make promises, but will try.

The po134 & po135 are oxygen sensor codes:
PO 134:
O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected

PO 135:
During testing the HO2S Heaters are checked for opens/shorts and excessive current draw. The test fails when current draw exceeds a calibrated limit and/or an open or short is detected.

Possible Sources:
Short to VPWR in harness or HO2S
Water in harness connector.
Open VPWR circuit.
Open GND circuit

Check the harness for starters in the front o2 sensor. Has it been replaced?

The other codes are misfire codes. Check ignition coil electrodes for possible corrosion.
