Here is where you need to start. When the engine dies and won't restart, you need to check for spark and fuel to the engine. One will be missing. Here are "HOW TO" guides for checking both. Also, if the check engine light has come on, have it scanned at a nationallly recognized parts store to see what code is stored in the computer.
