Noises problem
2000 Hyundai Elantra Manual

My car is making some grinding noises when it is started and the sound continues till it gets into 3rd or 4th gear. What could be the exact cause? How to over come this problem? Thanks in advance

Hi there,

With questions like this it is so hard to make a judgment with out hearing the noise, I would get a qualified mechanic to listen to it first hand, if you have a noise e in 1st, trough 3rd it may be a lay shaft bearing in the gearbox, may be get the oil checked first.

The noise is generating most of the times but not all the times. I have done the transmission oil get chekced, and it is ok.
