dear, sirs I am going to replace my disc brake pads on my 05 hyundia accent nad want to know if its is similar to your video series, as they do look a like. Also I have been told that I can only retrive trouble codes using a scanner called a high scan pro that costs about 3,000. Is this correct.I hope not. Yours truly and thanks for any reply.

Front disc pad replacement is very similar to most Hyundais. As far as reading codes from your ECU, you can go to Autozone, Checkers, Kragen, O'Reilley (whichever you have around you) and they can get do it for you for free. Or you can purchase any OBDII scanner, costs from $50 and up.
