The coil assembly I recently replaced is easy to wire as the unit is all one piece having two coils each running two cylinders and they are all labeled 1, 2, 3 and 4. When facing the engine from the front of the car, I do not know from left to right if the order is 1-2-3-4, or 1-3-2-4. This car actually runs no matter where I put the wires, it does not run well, but I am surprised it can run at all if not in the right order. Please help me solve this problem! Thank you!

Car won't start. I thought I had the plug wires connected correctly but maybe not. Please tell me how the plug wires are connected. A picture would be great! Thank you.

Four cylinder two wheel drive manual 95,000 miles.

I was not thinking and took off all of the spark plug wires at once. Now I am trying to figure out how they go back on. How do I find out the engine firing order for my car?(1.5 liter engine)

Also, do the spark plug wires have to be in a specific order, like longest to shortest?

Is this a DOHC or SOHC engine? The length of the wires does not matter as much as the firing order. However, if you do not get them in the right place then they may not reach from cylinder to coil properly.

Four cylinder front wheel drive automatic

I have had trouble with my engine misfiring so I did the basic tune up repairs. Wires, fuel filter. And that did not work so I took it to a local mechanic to have it diagnosed. They told me the coil was bad and it would be a $250.00 repair. So I decided to do it myself because the part was only $82.00. I changed the old one out and put it back together exactly as I took it apart. The engine still misfires and the check engine light still comes on. I did notice however that the wires seemed to be in the wrong order so I am hoping you give me advice on what I may try next and also a diagram of how the plug wires go and what order they plug onto the coil.
Thanks

Good day, I have found a new problem that is toggling my brain. One of my pistons close to the coil pack has stopped firing completely. We have swopped wires and plugs. They do work. I have spark on the spark plug and is working. The compression is good. But not firing, we have confirmed by test that the coil pack is not the fault. There is n ticking sound on the injector. Is there a other way of checking if the injector is working or getting power. Please help. Car is running high on petrol usage.
