I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent that has had its spark plugs changed a couple of months ago. Today while driving the car, it almost stalls out when idling and the check engine light comes on and flashes then when speeding up turns off. The car currently has 116,000+ miles on it. I've been reading that it mean that the engine is misfiring. Could it have anything to do with the timing belt since it is approaching the end of its life at 120,000? Money is really tight right now so any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
