1999 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 96,000 miles

I am smelling gas on the oil dipstick. The car starts fine and seems to idle steady according to the tachometer. There is an engine vibration that is not constant, but does have a rythum. You can feel it every couple of seconds.
