How does the hose that has the silver end?

I was thinking about clamping and twisting it because I can't twist it by hand I really don't want to damage anything but I need to replace this hose the other end is pouring coolant

I SAW QUITE A FEW THERE AND SURELY THERE WILL PROBABLY BE A COUPLE THAT WILL EXPLAIN IT WELL!

NOT TRYING TO GET OUT OF AN ANSWER, JUST TRYING TO HOOK YOU UP WITH THE BEST-US SOLUTION!
