2005 Honda Pilot won't go into neutral

2005 Honda Pilot 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 54000 miles
My car battery is discharged. I need to back my car out of the garage for jumper cables to reach it. The problem is the gear won't shift into neutral for me to push out and reach the other car and cables. Please tell me how to get this car backed out so someone can hook up jumper cables and get me going.
