I have an oil leak problem on the rear main seal. It does not seem to be leaking heavily, it is just showing some minor oil traces.

What is the best course of Action to be done? And how serious this is? How much would it cost me to repair?

You can put engine oil leak dye in the engine and recheck for oil leak. If the rear main seal is leaking they will have to remove the transmission to replace the rear main seal. If the rear main seal leaks alot the engine will be low on oil and could cause engine damage. It takes about 8 hours of labor time to remove and install the transmission.
