1999 Honda Passport Repair Question

1999 Honda Passport Car shakes - sometimes
Shakes or Wobbles problem
1999 Honda Passport 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 97000 miles
Car starts shaking at about 35 mph and progressively gets more violent as you continue at that speed, but will sometimes disappear after coming to a complete stop, or accelerating to 55+ and slowing back down to 35 or so. When the shaking is present, an audible scraping noise can be heard from what sounds like the rear passenger side. I've recently had the tires and shocks replaced and an alignment done.

Hi abide74,
Thank you for the donation.
If the problem was not present before the shocks and tires works, Get it checked for improper installation and tightening of parts. Hope it is not a wheel that is not properly torqued.
If problem was present before, I believe you have bad U joints in the propeller shafts. When U joints become stiff or worn, they would cause the symptoms described.
