1996 Honda Passport 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles
I have the same problem as fishbob. Power but no ground. Could the resistor be bad? I was told if the resistor was bad, the blower should still run on speed 4.

Hi eastwind32,
Under normal circumstances when the resistors fails, the highest speed should still work as it is a direct link to ground. However sometimes the circuit can go bad too and under such circumstances, the blower would not work in all positions.

I replaced it and all is well. I guess mine was really shot.
