After driving the vehicle for 30+ minutes, the Passport becomes very sluggish. It will not accellerate, and I lose power and speed.

I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel "sock" on the bottom of the pump. The inside of the tank is spotless.

Other ideas?

Hi stevecstl,

When problem happens, does it idle correctly?
Any issues with restarting if you turn engine off?
Any Check Engine Light showing?

It seems to idle ok. No difficulty restarting. No engine ligtht.

I thought maybe it was a backpressure problem that occurred whent the exhaust system heated up. I removed the catalytic converter; no improvement.

Just managed to get some info from the Technical Service Bulletin section and it might be applicable.
