Transmission problem
1995 Honda Passport 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles

Hello:

From a standstill the car moves off very slowly with very little power in all gears. The engine runs fine (rpms increase when given gas, but the car does not seem to have much power at the wheels). A little more power is notice in 4-Low, but definitely not up to full capacity. The problem used to come and go, but now is permanent.

Any suggestions as to what to look at? I'm not receiving any codes.
