REMOVED VALVE COVER!
I had this knocking rattling noise in my cylinder head after i took it to the track a few days ago. I was told to remove the valve cover so i did. What i found is what seems to be the two springs over the fourth cylinder under the cam closes to the fire wall, are rubbing up against a hump inside the inner front wall. There was no clearance. Wich would kind of explain the rattling noise, Kind of sounds like when you put a card in bike spokes.it does it when the car starts and under acceleration. There were a couple of scrathes on the wall in front of the rockers also. What would cause this?, and waht do i need to do to fix it?
