Honda Other Repair Question
No one else can answer this question. help me
Answer
Provide a year model, etc and I will see what I can find.
The year is 1985 and it is a Honda Civic 1500S, 3 door, EW2, 12 valve. If you need to know anything else just let me know.
EW1 = 1488cc SOHC CVCC carb '84-'87 Civic/CRX (USDM)
EW2 = 1488cc SOHC non-CVCC SOHC EFI '84-'87 Civic/CRX (CDM)
if i am rebuilding an ew-2 can i use ew-1 parts like valves, gasket sets, bearings, rings and pistons.
i guess what i am asking is the only difference in the fuel system?
I'm inclined to say "no". The intake valves are the same, but the exhaust are different. The Camshaft is different also. Does that mean it won't work? Don't know, inclined to think not.
