Hi, My '87 Accord blew up the auto transmission. The gears shift very late and the pick up on "D" is worse than a man walking past! I have to shift to 1st and even then, taking a U-turn is painful!

Got the tranny repaired but it has blown up again and the car is dead now.

I was thinking if it would be wise to put in another compatible transmission (maybe newer accord or civic).

Anybody here who can guide me what other tranny will work with the 2.0L? it's very difficult to get an auto transmission from the scrapyard here and I dont wanna put in the manual.
