What should I do to stop water leaking inside the passenger compartment floor. The carpet is smelling of mildew. Can I clean the tube myself to drain the water outside.

In most cars there is a drain that can be cleaned. If it is clogged it will fill up and run over into the car. If your ducting near the drain is cracked or leaking at a seal, then you will need to repair the leak. Just try and find where the water is coming from, and fix the problem.

In most cases, there will be a rubber hose sticking out of the bottom of the car. In some cases, this hose can be removed and cleaned. I rod of the same size can be used to clear the hole it attaches to, but be careful not to damage the components by inserting something to forcfully.

I have seen some water underneath the car on a frame, but no hose yet.
The car is elevated in the front using "homemade" very heavy ramps.
The water is dripping on the wife's feet as she drives.
And thanks for the reply.

If you cant find the drain, you are going to have to look under the dash. Find the ducting that houses the evaporator, and you will probably find your leak.

Upon further investigation I found the AC evaporator drain hose.
It is about 4 inches long, and 5 " above the RS sway bar hold down bracket. I used a long plastic tie strap to poke and probe, finally, the dam burst.
But the debris is still somewhere in the evaporator plenum, inaccessible to me.
