Hi, my 2000 Odyssey has 128,000 miles and I've never had any problems with it until 2 weeks ago. The check engine and TCS both came on and would not turn off. I never noticed any difference in driving. Went to the Honda dealer and had the transmission flushed. 2 days later the check engine light was back on. Back to the dealer I went and they then said I needed a new transmission. Because of previous transmission recalls on the Odyssey, they will give my a free transmission, and I'll be responsible for the cost of labor and new mounting blocks. If I do this, how long will the car last? Is it feasible to want to get at least 200,000 miles out it? They will warranty the transmission for a year. Any help is appreciated.

To all honda odyssey owners its not worth it to replace the transmission since thay won"t last. If anything replace it sell the car and never buy a odyssey again. Check the consumer report on the odyssey transmission. I would buy a toyota sienna
