How can I replace the computer

Transmission problem 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles

Im having trouble with the computer in the transmission and I need a way to replace it. Please send instructions to repair

Hi ishking54667,

There are no computers in the transmission. All solenoids are on the external of the transmission. The computer for the transmission is the same as the engine computer and is located inside vehicle.

Hello I have similar problem where vans drives normal for about 1/4 mile and then acts like it goes to neutral have to stop the engine and restart put back in drive and go again next 1/4 mile, fluid ok disconnected battery and still same problem any ideas?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a input shaft speed sensor going out. I would start by checking he fuses and run the codes first so we don't chase our tail.
