Hi joeaguirre,

You need to bleed the cooling system after it has run dry.

1. Set heater to max heat. Loosen air bleed bolt. Fill cooling system with 50/50 mixture coolant and water. Tighten bleed bolt when coolant flows from bleed bolt in steady streams without bubbles.

2. Continue to pour coolant into radiator to bottom of filler neck. Install radiator cap. Remove water oulet cap, install a 5/16" (8mm ) hose and funnel. See diagram. Pour coolant into funnel till coolant level reaches base of funnel. Start engine and let it idle. Add coolant into funnel as level goes down. Stop engine, remove funnel and hose and reinstall water outlet cap.

3. Start and operate engine to normal operating temp (fans comes on at least twice). Turn off engine and let it cool down. Remove radiator cap and add coolant if necessary to base of filler cap and to MAX mark on overflow reservoir.
