HI there,

It sounds as if you have a cracked exhaust manifold, the price you have been quoted must be for a new manifold, i would try ringing around and getting a price for a second hand manifold to be fitted, while its cracked, it will affect the emissions and economy,

Hi there,

Driving the car like this will upset the emissions, you may get a fault code foe a O2 sensor, and the car will run richer, exhaust fumes can enter the car (not good) and the noise will get worse, (police will find this interesting as well) best to see if you can get a second hand manifold fitted. as for your offer, as i live in Aust that will not be of much help to me, thanks anyway, if you wish, you can vote or contact 2carpros and voice your thoughts about our service.
