2007 Honda Civic Hybrid
I'm in a summer Engineering program at the University of Texas and we are working on a design for a motorcycle safety device that could tap into most keyless remote receivers to monitor the area for motorcycles (carrying the radio transmitter), and signal their presence.
We know we'd have to re-program or patch the controller to respond to the motorcycles' radio transmissions, but we don't know exactly how to do this... we're going to be opening up a controller, but if anyone could direct us to some references to help us reprogram it, we'd appreciate it. Thanks.
