2005 Honda Civic Hybrid odd noice on start and a shuddering
Transmission problem
2005 Honda Civic Hybrid 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
The problem I'm experiencing can best be described this way; The car is an automatic, but on initial acceleration it feels and sounds like a stardard transmission if you took off in 2nd gear. It's a terrible low base noice and very jerky. Once the car is moving it goes away and runs fairly normal. The other issue is the car often feels like someone is tapping the brakes when your coasting. I've had various opinions on what people think it is, from timing belt, computer to transmission. Please help.
