2003 Honda Civic Hybrid Acceleration Lurching

When accelerating slowily such as around a parking lot, the vehicle lurches like it is try to go but slipping. However, if I press on the gas firmly from a complete standstill, I do not have this problem.

Would not suggest doing that the transmissions are faulty the tanny could be going or the top trany mount is shot. If you have I set to shut off when at a start the problem will be even worse must coast to make sure tranny properly engaged. If it persists even doing this pretty sure it is ready to junk unless you want to get one for 3800cnd with 20k warranty rebuild (all honda offers)
