1999 Honda Civic EX won't start when the key is turned inside the ignition. I hear a clicking noise but the engine won't start up. My headlights work.
Is this problem caused by my alternator, starter, or timing belt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Timing? No. Starter? Good possibility. Battery? Possible. Alternator? Another possibility. Have the starter checked as a beginning point.

Always start with the battery! Start by testing the source. Load test the battery first. Then move on from there.
