1994 Honda Civic EX-Coupe with a 1.6L VTec engine 150,000 recently was in a front end crash and replace the whole front end of course new radiator...... after crash bubbling has been going on in coolant tank while speeding and over-heats after about 5 or 6 minutes on the high way also steam has been coming out of coolant tank...fan turns on but only seems to work if im not drivin at high way speeds (i tried the trick of turning the heater on while driving) this only works for a few minutes but if i was to speed the car would surely over heat i took it too 2 places one place said it was most likely the waterpump the other place said it was most likely air bubbles and a bad fan or fan relay or something as simple as a fuse...i jus need some insight because im tight on money college student living pay check to paycheck thanks....

Please check closely in to the bubbling in the tank. First, when the engine is very warm, slowly crack open a bleeder valve on the cooling system to let out the air. Completely void the cooling system of air. Do this when the car is running.

Then watch the cooling system, if you are still getting bubbling out of the cooling system, I would now look to a head gasket problem. Not sure the extent of the damage from the accident but this seems to be a gasket problem.
