I have a 2002 Honda civic EX 1.7vtech engine and i've been having this problem for a while. The car Just turns off while driving. It happend like 5 months ago and I changedthe "cranshaft" something like that, and it stoped, now is happening again. But it only happends somethimes.I drove the car today and it didnt happend, but like 3 days ago the problem happend. Whats wrong, why is it doing that and how can I fix it?

They probably replaced the crankshaft position sensor. It could be another sensor but it could be one of a number of other items. No check engine light on? It is hard to say be patient and it will manifest itself by getting worse and thus making it easy to diagnose.

Most likely the electrical part of the ignition switch. I'm almost 100% sure this is a recall item.
