Last summer I had my A/C flushed and refilled, however it did NOT fix my problem. My A/C worked intermitaently for a while and now it is completely broken. Recently, a mechanic told me that it looks like the compressor is not working. What should I do? And how much should I expect to pay to get the entire A/C up and running? Should I get it fixed at a Honda dealership or by a local mechanic. It's too hot in Georgia to ride with my windows down. Help! Thank you in advance for your advice...

Hi gbf,

Without knowing the cause it is not possible to provide any costing.

If the compressor is not working, there are 3 possible causes.
1. Insufficient freon so electrical circuit is not complete. Bypass (bridge connector) the pressure switch to test if the compressor works.
2. Faulty compressor, clutch or magnetic coil.
3. Power supply , blown fuse etc
