Stereo radio light stays on

All I will say/ask is first. Is the stereo aftermarket, and was it professionally installed? If so then I would bring it back, they wired up the power to the wrong area, and second. Is the radio still on completely or just the light. And if it is factory, then a good inexpensive radio isn't hard to find and plus they seem to have a better sound anyway. Hope that helps a little
