1993 Honda Civic stuck proportioning valve??

Brakes problem
1993 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 185000 miles

I replaced RF brake caliper but left the line open for a day....now when i tried to bleed it no fluid will come through, but will on the other side. Stuck proportioning valve? how to get it unstuck and flow fluid to other side?

Hi thunderlips,

When the line is left open, the fluid would be drained out from the master cylinder. Bleed the master cylinder first.

Proceeed with wheel caliper after the master cylinder has been bled. Ensure the master cylinder is working correctly.

If vehicle is equipped with ABS, the accumulator could be faulty causing the problem.
