When picking up speed on changing gears, after a few kms, the car suddenly jerks, almost comes to a stop and picks up again. Has been happening for a while now. The service centre is not sure what could be the problem. Say it could be due to faulty cylinder or is it piston rings. Which may have to be changed and will cost a hell of a lot. Is this a manufacturing defect or a problem develope d over time due to driving and road conditions. Need advise please. From bangalore india
