I have a 1994 Honda Accord 2.2 4 cylinder approx 200,000+ I replaced the water pump and in the process the timing and the timing balancer belts broke. I had to rip them out and all the pullys moved. Some of the pullys have more than one mark. I replaced the belts, but now I can't get the car to start. I think it is because my timing is off. How do I get the car back into time?

Pull out number 1 plug and stick in a long screwdriver. Slowly turn over the engine by hand until the screwdriver is at the hightest point. The should be top dead center for the piston and thus the crankshaft. Then take the camshaft and lines on it form a T. The T should be upside down with the top line of the T perfectly parallel to the top of the head. That should get the timing back in order.
