This is for a 1988 Honda Accord LXI mileage is 186,000 When I come to a complete stop the car shakes like crazy can u tell me why. I have been told that it may be an idle problem. Just not sure please help

I would try to determine if the engine is the problem or maybe you have a broken motor mount. If it is the engine, I would start by checking the spark to each cylinder. I could be as simple as a bad wire or a broken spark plug.

Trans mounts valve alignment vacuum leaks ( base of carb, intake manifold) main relay, etc
