A] Question:
2002 Honda Accord LX | 4 cyc | 122,000 miles. I had a I had the timing belt, tensioiner belt, water pump, spark plugs, thermostat, ac/alternator belt, belt replaced. The car now shifts gears a bit loud (like driving in a low gear on a mountain) between 2000-3000 rpm and vibrates, the idle seems off.

Can the changes made to the car cause this?

I have found the following possible issues on the internet, any comments?

1. Balance shaft problems:
2. Engine mount repair
3. Transmission service
4. Idle adjustment

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

The only item that I saw that could have an impact was the timing belt. The timing may not have been reset or reset properly. I would recommend having the timing checked first. Another thing to look at is any items that may have been damaged or forgotten to be replaced when the work was done. Check electrical connections and vac hose and hose connections as well. It is sometimes easy to bump something when working in the engine compartment.
