Hi,
I recently received this code. My transmission has been running rough and progressively showing difficulty engaging in gear. I took it into a transmission "specialist". The car failed on my way to the mechanic. He sold me on a remanufactured transmission for $1400. Was there anything else I should have done? The dealer wanted $2500 for this remedy so I opted for a certifed ASE mechanic instead. The car is a 2001 Honda Accord with 145,000 miles on it (automatic, 4 cylinder).
Thank you,
David

Possibilities are TCM (torque control module) failing, tranny bad, there is a solenoild that could fail. I assume that it is working fine now, unless the TCM was replaced as well, you probably nailed it with the tranny replacement.
