Hi,
Was wondering if you could help me out! I have an Irish Honda Accord 1.8 v tec when I start the engine either hot or cold the revs drop down to the point that the car nearly cuts out then it pulls itself back up to normal any idea what the problem could be?

Hope you can help

Charlie.

Not too familiar with that engine. What is the year of the vehicle?

Do yourself a favor and honestly determine if the car uses anti-freeze. The amount it uses can be small but should be steady. The whitle is NOT normal. Don't let anyone sell you that bill of goods.

The hesitation can be the vehicle trying to run on a mixture of water and gas. They don't like it. Is there a small but noticeable loss of power in the vehicle?
