2005 honda accord ex v6 5,800
after having my car one month my engine started making a grinding sound whenever I accelerate. I can hear and feel the grinding better whenever the ac is off. It's not as smooth as when I first bought it. The problem is, everyone I take it to doesn't think it's a problem. Is this normal for a v6?

No, not normal. Find another dealer to look at it.

I took my 2005 accord to another honda dealer today and we test drove it around so that I could point out the sound. He looked it over and couldn't find anything wrong, said everything was tight and secure. Then we test drove a 2006 honda accord v6 and it had the same sound as mine. So I guess it's normal. I didn't think it was, but I heard the 2006 accord v6 myself. Same exact thing as my 2005 accord v6. What do you think?

Wish I could hear the grinding sound or knew more about what it sounds like and where it could be coming from. You have warranty to fall back on. Drive it with confidence but don't become complacent with the grinding sound. Observe whether it gets worse or starts to fade away as the car becomes looser or broken-in.
