You have to make this clearer. It is put? The car starts to die in forward and reverse? Is this an automatic or manual tranny. Please provide more information if you want further assistance.

It is an automatic when I go to forward to reverse for some reason it is shutting off. When I slow down to about 10 mph is starts to putt and jerk a little bit.

Here is a cheap check on the system. It is only cheap in that you will get to use the trial. Fill the car to Full and see if the problem persists. If the problem disappears for awhile, only to return again when the tank gets lower, you need to get a fuel pressure check done.

My car has the same exact problem, only it is an 87 accord lx automatic, it dies when shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa, and when I am at a stoplight or trying to parallel park, it continually drops idle and sometimes shuts off.

Dragonfly, is yours a fuel injected vehicle? If so, check out the Electronic Fuel Injection module.
