AIR CONDITIONER PROBLEMS
I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX with 130000 miles. It has a 2.2 4cyl. V-tec engine. The problem I'm having is the air compressor clutch is not engaging. I have checked the voltage to the compressor coil, which is getting 13 volts while running. I have also checked the resistance of the compressor coil which I am getting 5 olms. So when troubleshooting this, I found that when I turn on the compressor, the load will cause the 13 volts to disappear. When wiring the coil directly to the battery, the clutch will engage. I'm confused. Can you please tell me what could be going on.
