95 accord lx 5speed.... noise during deceleration at 2800rpm

I have a 95 accord lx 5speed.. much newer stock engine, cv's etc.. one small issue- when I come off the gas it will "roar" from 2800 to 2500 rpm, it can be spotted in N... but just a bit... But if in gear/any gear... it will make much more noise... no real vibration to the car when it happens, and it runs great above and below that rpm.... any ideas on this?

thase kind of roars are usually associated with a exhaust problem. Either you have lost a muffler baffle or the cat is comig apart. Good luck

Losone... you had it pegged... I had a elantra with a problem just like it a few years ago.... that finaly dawned on me this am... out to the car, use a jack for presure and..... no more noise. The resonator wich was only 25000 miles old was a poor product, I called my guy and picked up a factory/oe unit... 65 bucks later.... no roar
thanks all
