Hi
The passenger side door on my Accord coupe won't open from the inside. It seems the clip holding the cable for the inside handle has broken. How do I replace that? Also, the lock won't go down. I've taken the door pannel off a few times now and got an actuator from the dealer. But the actuator doesn't look at all like the one that's inside the door now. Anyone have any ideas? This would be very helpful because this is my third time trying to tackle this and I can't seem to do it without running into a problem and/or the potentially wrong part. Thanks.

Hi mastrochr,

The actuator not working could be due to the inner door opener cable out of position thereby restricting the movement of the lock.

To replace the opener cable you need to unclasp the connections at both ends and remove it.
