On using the diagnostic tools to check the what could be the problem. The code was P1259 - manufacturer specific DTC was the message.
When I tried to eraze this code, it re-appears immediately.

Please, what is the meaning of this code? What could probably be the problem?

Hi yinkebo,

P1259 = A problem in V-TEC oil pressure switch circuit or V-TEC Solenoid valve circuit.

That is the reason the engine cannot rev up fully and is sluggish at high speeds.

Hi KHLow2008,

From your last reply, it is obvious that the problem with my car is electrical.

Now please, how do I get a comprehensive circuit diagram for my honda?

Thank you
