2001 accord oil is missing

I have 2001 accord, 4 cyl, 80000 miles. It takes 1 gallon of oil for 6k miles. I guess it's not normal. And I cann't figure out were it's going. There is no leaks under the motor and compression is exellent. It's obviosly burns in cylinders but what coultd cause it?
May be piston rings are burned but comression is ok. May be its going through the valve seals, what do you think?

Yes it can be going through the valve or valves. The compression can be good but there are three rings on a piston. Two are for compression and the bottom one is for oil. That one is likely the problem. Either way, I believe the car is burning oil and this can be done without a noticeable cloud of smoke behind you. What should be telltale is to pull the plugs out and note whether there is black or brown deposits on them. It could be a seal but you should notice some sort of leakage on the floor or ground.
