Transmission problem
2000 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170 + miles

We have a 2000 Honda Accord. When we put the car in drive, at the same time it gives off a jerk. Once we are on the road, it gives like jitters once u start on the gas or when u are driving in a city like speed, but up to speeds like 65 or up, It doesnt do it as often. Can you tell what this is?

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, jerking, bogging, misfiring etc. Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it
